On February 28, an open meeting of the administration was held at the Faculty of Physics and Technology under the chairmanship of the First Vice-Rector - Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Asemgul Moldazhanova.
Dean Abdirash Akylbekov spoke about the scientific prospects of the Faculty of Physics and Technology. He noted the high publishing activity of the FTF faculty, the victories of young scientists in national and international competitions and grants, the high positions of the Physics and Astronomy direction in the QS World University Ranking by Subject rating in 2017 and 2018.
Heads of departments K.Sh. Zhumadilov (Department of Nuclear Physics, New Materials and Technologies), R. Myrzakulov (Department of General and Theoretical Physics), K.N. Balabekov (Department of Technical Physics) told about the training of scientific and pedagogical personnel of the new formation at the Faculty of Physics and Technology.
