Asel Nazarova (1st year doctoral student of specialty 6D060500 - Nuclear Physics)

Asel Nazarova (1st year doctoral student of specialty 6D060500 - Nuclear Physics) - winner of a JINR grant for young scientists and specialists, 2020, supervisor - Dr. PhD Artem Kozlovsky, foreign consultant Dr. PhD Dorota Khudoba.

Scientific activity and dissertation research by Assar Nazarova is related to the study of the applicability of magnetic nanostructures in biomedical applications, as well as the creation of “Core-Shell” nanostructures for targeted drug delivery.

A competition of grants for young scientists and specialists is held among JINR staff every year in which young scientists from 18 JINR member countries take part. More than 400 applications are submitted to the competition annually, of which 48 received funding. Among the winners in 2020 was the first-year doctoral student of specialty 6D060500 - Assel Nuclear Physics Nazarov with the project "Synthesis and research of magnetic nanoparticles of the" core-shell "type for bioapplication".
