February 16, 2018 in the Nazarbayev Center hosted the tenth anniversary award ceremony for the winners of the Prize of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
According to the organizers, this award embodies the recognition and support of young scientists and representatives of culture. Original research and development, creative projects and programs in the following nominations are put forward for the republican competition: physics, mathematics, engineering and humanities, as well as music and visual arts, cinematography, fiction and journalism.
This year, 116 applications were submitted for the award, 59 of which were for science and technology. According to the results of the competitive selection, the prize of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan was awarded to 21 participants in 12 nominations, of which 9 contestants were awarded to science and technology.
The prize of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan for high achievements in science in physics was awarded to PhD, Senior Lecturer of the Technical Physics Department of the L.N.Gumileva Eurasian National University. Alzhanova Alia Ermekovna. At this competition she presented the work «New nanomaterial on the basis of SiO2 / Si». Alzhanova A.E. has 40 publications, 27 of them on the topic submitted to the competition. Scientific results have been tested in more than 6 foreign international scientific conferences (Germany, Poland, Belarus, Russia) and more than 10 scientific conferences and symposia of the republic (Astana, Almaty, Karaganda). 2 monographs in Kazakh and Russian were published: «Взаимодействие ионов с веществом», 2017 г. (ISBN 978-9965-31-905-1), «Иондардың затпен өзара әрекеті», 2017 г. (ISBN 978-9965-31-925-9). Also, scientists received 2 innovative patents for invention.
Alzhanova Aliya Ermekovna, in addition to active research, is the winner of various competitions of innovative projects in Kazakhstan and abroad.\
Alzhanova A.E. is the winner of the international competition of innovation projects among the CIS member states "100 ideas for the CIS" (Belarus, Minsk), initiated by the Council for Youth Affairs of the CIS member states with the support of the CIS Executive Committee.
For available scientific achievements Alzhanova A.E. recognized as the “Best Young Scientists” in the youth republican competition of innovative projects established by the Nur Otan Party. At the end of last year, her scientific work was recognized as the “Best Scientific Work” of the L.N.Gumilyov Eurasian National University.
