About us

    The Department of Radio Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications is engaged in the training of specialists (undergraduate and graduate) in the following specializations: Infocommunication Systems, Information Security, Hardware and Software for Telecommunication Systems. Special disciplines are taught by highly qualified teachers who have scientific, pedagogical and production experience. The proportion of teachers with academic degrees is 45% of the teaching staff.

     The history of the specialty "Radio engineering, electronics and telecommunications" originates in 2008, when the training of specialists was conducted in the department of "Space technology and technology". Then, in September 2012, the Department of Radio Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications was established by the order of the University Rector.

      Since 2013, the department has started the preparation of masters in the specialty "6M071900 - Radio engineering, electronics and telecommunications" in Kazakh and Russian as part of the state program GPIIIR-2 (State program of industrial and innovative development). In the context of this program In 2015, the first graduate of the Master's degree in this specialty was held.

      From 2016 the department is headed by a candidate of technical sciences, professor, academician of the International Academy of Communications Burambaeva Nursaule Amanzholovna. From 1981 to 1984 She studied at the graduate school of the Leningrad Institute of Precision Mechanics and Optics (LITMO, currently St. Petersburg Research University of Information Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics).

Now the department is headed by a cadidate of physical and mathematical sciences Makhanov Kanat.

      The staff of the department consists of 25 teachers, including 2 doctors of sciences, 12 candidates of sciences, 15 masters of which 2 graduates of the Bolashak scholarship. In addition, specialists are invited to conduct classes, working in large companies, industries and corporations such as JSC "Republican Center for Space Communications", JSC "NC" Kazakhstan Karysh Sapary ", JSC" Kazakhtelecom ". Many teachers of the department have a CCNA certificate. The CCNA professional certification (Cisco Certified Network Associate) is issued by CISCO as a result of the examination on the knowledge of setting up and building networks.

       Tasks of the department:

      - Ensuring a high level of lecture, practical and laboratory classes;

      - Implementation of educational, educational and methodological work in accordance with credit technology training;

      - Equipping the educational process with appropriate material and technical equipment;

      - Performing research and development work on the profile of the department;

      - Assistance in employment of graduates of the department;
