Dear students of the faculty of Physics and technology!

International cooperation

International cooperation is an important part of the department's activity and an integral tool of the quality of education. International recognition of the International Department of Nuclear Physics, New Materials and Technologies gives our students unique opportunities to discover their potential on a global scale: two-diploma education, academic mobility, scientific internships, practical training.

The department cooperates with foreign universities in the preparation of joint educational programs and double diploma programs, giving students the opportunity to learn new disciplines and gain knowledge from leading foreign teachers.

The implementation of two-diploma education is carried out according to the following programs:

1) Joint educational program «5B060500 – Nuclear physics»

Dubna State University

2) Joint educational program «6М060500 – Nuclear physics»

Dubna State University

National Research Nuclear University MEPhI

3) Joint educational program «6М074000 – Nanomaterials and nanotechnologies»

Ural Federal University named after the first President of Russia B.N.Yeltsin

The National University of Science and Technology MISiS

4) Cooperation with the Belarus National Academy of Sciences

Belarus National Academy of Sciences

In 2020, a joint Kazakh-Belarusian project was successfully implemented within the framework of international bilateral funding aimed at creating technology for producing ferrocontaining nanostructures, as well as their practical application in microelectronics.
In 2020, a joint project was launched within the framework of a competition for young scientists to study the radiation resistance of nitride ceramics. A series of joint experiments to study the resistance to radiation and degradation of nitride ceramics was held in 2021.

As part of the implementation of the Bologna Process in the life of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University great role is given to the academic mobility of students and teachers. Academic mobility is coordinated by the Department of International Cooperation. More information about Academic Mobility programs can be found by following the link: http://www.enu.kz/en/cooperation/academic-mobility/.

Since September 2015, the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University became a member of the Regional Network «Education and Training of Specialists in Nuclear Technology (STAR-NET)».

The Regional Network «Education and Training of Specialists in Nuclear Technology (STAR-NET)» was established in September 2015 as an association in accordance with the Austrian Law on Associations with International Participation.

Areas of activities of the STAR-NET network includes training (bachelor, master and specialist, postgraduate/PhD levels) and professional training (maintaining qualifications, advanced training, retraining), as well as teaching, research and scientific and technical projects in all directions of nuclear sciences, technology and management.

The purpose of the regional network STAR-NET is the development, management and preservation of nuclear knowledge and the provision of qualified human resources in the nuclear field in the participating countries whose educational organizations are participating in this network, as well as improving the quality of human resources for the stable development and use of safe nuclear technologies.

Currently, the STAR-NET network unites 12 universities from six countries:

1) Baku State University (BSU), Azerbaijan Republic;

2) Yerevan State University (YSU), Republic of Armenia;

3) State Engineering University of Armenia (SEUA), Republic of Armenia;

4) Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics (BSUIR), Republic of Belarus;

5) Belarusian National Technical University (BNTU), Republic of Belarus;

6) Belarusian State University (BSU), Republic of Belarus;
