Professional practice is one of the most important components of the educational program in the formation of a professional in information and communication technologies. According to the state compulsory standard of the Republic of Kazakhstan, students in the undergraduate and graduate programs under the program "Radio Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications" undertake to undergo the following types of professional practice:

As for the practice, students of RET can practice in the leading telecom giants of the country, such as Kazakhtelecom, Transtelecom, Kaztranskom, Astel, Beeline, Tele2, etc., as well as at NIT JSC, RCKS JSC, JSC NK "Kazakhstan Garysh Sapary", etc. 

The department functions to prepare a bachelor and master of technical knowledge; competitive specialist in the field of radio engineering, electronics and telecommunications, demanded in market conditions. The objectives of the training include: to prepare a comprehensively educated specialist who knows how to use knowledge in practice, think creatively and act in various life situations within the framework of his professional activity.

Graduates work in the research and production departments of enterprises in the telecommunications and information technology industries. Potential employers include Republican Space Communication Center, National Information Technologies, Kazakhtelecom, Transtelecom, Astel, etc.
