April 5, 2019 in the framework of the decade of science of the faculty of physics and technology at the Department of "Space technology" was held an annual scientific competition among students of 2nd and 3rd year under the name "Space Odyssey". The competition was attended by 3 teams: the team of "Nur-Sultan" includes students of groups Ctit-21, Ctet-31; in command of "Alpha-Delta" – students of groups Ctit-22, Ctit-32; in the "Almagest" – students of groups Ctit-23, Chit-33. The competition was held in 3 stages: greeting teams, question-answer and research project.
The jury consisted of: head of the Department "Space engineering and technology" Zhakupova A. E., associate Professor of Moldamurat H., senior lecturer Kalmanova D. M., the engineer of the highest category Anuar G.A. Also, a doctoral student of the specialty "Technical physics" Bazarbek ASYL-Dastan visited the competition. The event was organized by teachers of the Department Ctit: Zhubaniyazova K.K, Dyusengali G. B. and Shaimerden Zhansaya
By results of competition the first prize was won by students of groups Ctit-23, Chit-33, II place was given to the groups Ctit-21, Ctet-31I III place - Ctit-22,
Ctit-32. Letters of thanks for active participation were awarded to Myrzabekov Erkin, Bolatzhan Karakat, Abilda Bakbergen, Otegen Alikhan.
