The annual adaptation week for freshmen, due to the situation in the country and in the world, this year was held in a mixed format, and as the results of the work and feedback from freshmen showed, everything was held at a fairly high level.
Let's start with the fact that 327 students entered our Faculty of Physics and Technology in the 2021-2022 academic year.
On September 1, on the Day of Knowledge at the Faculty of Physics and Technology, with 1st year students, observing sanitary standards, each department held an individual meeting. The meeting was attended by deputy deans Kozhageldiev B.K., Kanseytova B.Z., heads of departments, senior curators and curators, who congratulated the students on entering the best educational institution in the country. They also got acquainted with the general rules of the university, the educational process, the faculty and departments. The students, in turn, asked their questions regarding the educational process and social life of the university. At the end of the meeting, curators and elders were assigned to each group.
On September 9, freshmen met with directors and representatives of structural units: the Department of Academic Affairs, the Department of Digital Development and Distance Learning, the Department of International Relations, the Department of Social and Civil Development, representatives of the military department, etc.
On September 10, a meeting was held between the dean of the Faculty of Physics and Technology and the curators of the groups. Instructions were given to draw up plans for Kuratian hours, including religious extremism, Pure session, etc.
On October 22, a university-wide initiation into students of "BELES-2021" was held at the Central Concert Hall "QAZAQSTAN". The dedication was full of performances of a different nature: from dances and songs to humorous skits.
