As part of the popularization of science among students on October 11, 2019, the Council of Young Scientists of ENU named after L.N. Gumilyov, together with the Student Scientific Society of the Faculty of Physics and Technology, held the first monthly seminar.
Welcoming speech was taken by the Dean of the FTF Nurmoldin E.E., who emphasized the importance of attracting young people to science from the student bench. “The task of these seminars is to introduce students to ENU named after L.N. Gumilyov’s life with the scientific life of the university, to present the available scientific areas, as well as introduce leading scientists, including young scientists, in these areas, ”said Yerik Ersalynovich.

Doctor of Physics and Mathematics, Professor Kadyrzhanov Kairat Kamalovich, with a report “History of the Development of the Nuclear-Physical Experiment in the Republic of Kazakhstan”.
Professor Kadyrzhanov K.K. All his professional life he devoted to the formation and development of the nuclear industry of Kazakhstan. In his report, Kairat Kamalovich spoke about the scientific achievements of sovereign Kazakhstan, the formation of the National Nuclear Center. Much attention was also paid to the process of eliminating the consequences of nuclear explosions and the current state of the Semipalatinsk test site.
