November 27-30 at the ENU named after L.N. Gumilyov, in the framework of the international project “Strengthening educational programs in the specialty“ Social work ”, the Department of Sociology, jointly with the representative office of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) in the Republic of Kazakhstan, held an autumn school for teachers of higher educational institutions of Kazakhstan engaged in the development and implementation of educational programs in the specialty“ 5B / 6M090500 - Social work "including the KVSH (Karaganda Higher Police School and the Kostanay Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan), who train social workers for the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The aim of the present event was an approbation of 4 training modules, training in the coaching skills of the participants of the autumn school.
Out of 4 days of work of the Autumn School, 2 full days were devoted to the training of coaching skills, in addition, international experts in the field of social work, professors Veronica Duchi and Izela Tahsini(Faculty of Social Work and social policy, Tirana University, who are international consultants in writing 8 Social Work Modules) participated in the following event. At the training, the characteristics of the trainer, preparation for the training, difficulties in coaching, training methods, preparation for the training, etc. were studied.
