In these latter days the digitalization of the country as a whole is an actual topic in the field of information technology. On December 12, 2017, the State Program "Digital Kazakhstan" was approved by the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 827,. Successful implementation of the program will provide an additional impetus for technological modernization of the country's flagship industries, and will also create conditions for large-scale and long-term growth of labor productivity. The program will be implemented in the period 2018-2022. The complex of events within the program will give an additional impetus to technological modernization of the country's economy and will help create conditions for large-scale and long-term growth of labor productivity. The results of the program are aimed at improving the living standards of all citizens of the country.
Also in 2014, by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the State Program of Industrial and Innovative Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2015-2019 was approved (SPIID-2). The objectives of this program are to stimulate diversification and increase competitiveness of the manufacturing industry in Kazakhstan. Within the framework of the SPIID-2 program, several priority areas for the development of industrial production have been identified, such as the production of building materials, engineering, etc.
In this regard, the Eurasian National University after L.N Gumilyov is teaching and training students to provide qualified personnel in the space industry. "Space engineering (SET) and technology" department prepares future highly qualified specialists for the domestic space industry under the Master's degree program.
The name of the seminar is precisely related to the role of space technology in digitalization and the country's innovative industrial development. Engineer of the 2nd category of the NC "Kazakhstan Gharysh Sapary" Yessenov Alimzhan Serikovich delivered a speech at the seminar. He began his presentation on the topic "Application of innovative space technologies in various sectors of the economy." First, he briefly explained the structure of the company and acquainted everyone with the projects that are developed and implemented by the NC "Kazgharysh".
The second speaker of the seminar was Dasimbaev Erlan Beknazarovich. He is the leading engineer of JSC "Republican Center for Space Communications". He acquainted everyone with the structure of the space communications center and its mission. In addition, he shared his experience with students and talked about the opportunities for finding future specialists in this center.
At the end of the seminar the dean of the Faculty of Physics and Technical sciences Akylbekov Abdirash Tasanovich spoke. He thanked all participants of the seminar and expressed his opinion on innovative space technologies and the prospects for the development of the space industry.
At the end of the seminar, the dean of the FPTS presented letters of gratitude to the speakers of the seminar.
