On April 4, 2018, the Department of Space technique and technologies organized a quiz between students. This event is held within the framework of the "Decade of Science" throughout the university.
The first, second and third year students of Kazakh and Russian groups took part in the "Space Odyssey" quiz. The total number of teams was 8. A program consisting of three rounds was prepared for the participants. Students had to answer questions from the field of cosmonautics, show the ability to think logically, analyze facts and work in a team. The display showed not only questions, but also video questions from teachers. There were a competent jury on the quiz, which included teachers and laboratory assistants of the department.
Then the game began, and the participants started to answer questions. Since the space theme is complex, all of the participants were well prepared and scored a large number of points. It was quite difficult to choose the winner, after three rounds both teams had the same points, as a result, after the additional question the winner of the contest was determined. According to the results of the quiz, the places were distributed as follows:
— 1st place - group "KTiT-33";
— 2nd place - group "KTiT-32";
— 3rd place - group "KTiT-23".
All the students showed great interest in questions on the topic of space. Winners of the quiz were awarded with honorable gifts
