Information about the professional career of graduates
Curatorial hour
November 6, 2021 curator of the 1st course "6B05304 PHYSICS" Myrzakulova Sh.A. organized a curatorial hour. The topic of the curatorial hour is "Prevention of Crime and Extremism." Due to the complexity of the topic, took part in it Daribay Muratbek Ontalapovich, a specialist theologian of the Department of Social and Civil Development. The topic was presented to the students, and the theologian answered additional questions from the students. The freshmen were provided with contact numbers of specialists of the Department of Social and Civil Development as a reference point.
The final conference on the pedagogical practice
On October 9, 2021, the final conference on the pedagogical practice of 2nd year doctoral students in the specialty 8D05304 - Physics using the Microsoft Teams program was held. Online attended all 3 doctoral students. The results obtained during pedagogical practice were reported by a doctoral candidate and in the form of a presentation. At the end of the pedagogical practice, doctoral students handed over the necessary documentation to the practice leaders on the load through Platonus and corresponding estimates were received.
DIPLOMA PRACTICE
On May 6, 2021, the report protection on the pre-diploma practice of 4th year students in the specialty 5B0600400 - Physics using the Microsoft Teams program was held. Online attended 32 of 33 students.
The results obtained during pre-diploma practice were reported by a students and in the form of a presentation. At the end of the pre-diploma practice, students handed over the necessary documentation to the practice leaders on the load through Platonus and corresponding estimates were received.
Research practice
On April 1, 2020, the final conference on the research practice of undergraduates of the 2nd year of the specialty 6M0600400 - Physics using the ZOOM program was held. Online attended 12 of 13 undergraduates. The results obtained during research practice were reported to undergraduates and in the form of a presentation. At the end of the research practice, undergraduates handed over the necessary documentation to the practice leaders on the load through Platonus.
On March 27, 2020, the final conference on the research practice of 2nd year doctoral students in the specialty 6D0600400 - Physics using the ZOOM program was held. Online attended 7 of 9 doctoral students. The results obtained during research practice were reported by a doctoral candidate and in the form of a presentation. At the end of the research practice, doctoral students handed over the necessary documentation to the practice leaders on the load through Platonus and corresponding estimates were received.
Employment
One of the priorities in the activities of the department is conducting different events regarding jobs and vacancies to increase the level of the employment of graduates. The Department of «General and Theoretical Physics» conducts awareness-raising work with graduates of educational programs; employers and practitioners are invited to meet with graduates and give consultative assistance.
At the Department of «General and theoretical physics», various meetings are held with alumni, during which students get acquainted about the programs "Youth Practice", "With a Diploma - to the Village!". They are also informed on the obligations to work by young specialists trained on the basis of a state grant.
The employers' forum "The Way to Success" at the Eurasian National University in the directions: "natural, technical sciences and technologies" was held on April 3, 2021. Our employers took an active part in the "Fair of vacancies" including the school-lyceum №66, school-lyceum №48, Intel. school Nazarbayev Orleu, MNIK and others.
For the development and improvement of educational programs, the department supports feedback from employers. One form of such communication is the questioning of employers about the quality of graduate training - the level of their professionalism, competence, applied skills and skills required in their professional activities. All feedback on the graduates of educational programs indicate a high level of quality of their preparation and contain a positive evaluation of the work and professional qualities of graduates.

General information about professional practice
Students, undergraduates and doctoral students undergo practical training at the Department of General and Theoretical Physics and at the Eurasian International Center for Theoretical Physics (EMTCF). At the center, scientific laboratories are organized which meet the priority areas of research: cosmology, gravity, string and bran theory, astrophysics; nonlinear physics, chaos, fractals and nanophysics; nonlinear mathematics, geometry and topology; physics of DNA, genetic code and the human brain.
