The Ministry of Education and Science of Kazakhstan hold the annual Republic-wide competition of students’ research works in the field of natural, technical, social, humanitarian and economic sciences in universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan (NIRS competition) based on higher educational institutions.
Goals and objectives of the NIRS competition:
1. Stimulation of research and educational activities of students;
2. Selection and support of the most talented and gifted students;
3. Assistance to the formation of the intellectual potential of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Republican NIRS competition is held in 3 stages:
There were 2 works of the Department of «Space technique and technologies» at the republican level.
2nd place awarded to the project «Жерді қашықтықтан зондтау ақпараттарын қолдану арқылы Қазақстан Республикасының территориясындағы атмосфералық үрдістерді болжау» of Myrzabekov Yerkin Anatolyevich, 3rd year student of the Eurasian National University named after L.N.Gumilev (SEaT-33).
Supervisor: Associate Professor of the Department of «Space technique and technologies» of the Eurasian National University named after L.N.Gumilev, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Zhakupova Almira Ersainovna.
3rd place was awarded to the 3rd year student of the Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilev Sultanova Saltanat Sultanovna (SEaT-31) for the «Астана қаласы маңындағы тұрмыстық қатты қалдықтар полигоны аймағын бақылау» project.
