Every Wednesday at the RET department there is a department meeting, where they discuss the work of the faculty, the further strategy of the department, plans for public, educational, as well as educational and scientific works of the faculty, undergraduates and students. On September 5 (Wednesday) in 2018, the head of the department, Seilov Shakhmaran Zhursinbekovich, held a regular meeting of the department. 
In addition to public and educational work, the improvement of the educational process was discussed. One of the innovative projects of the department is a seminar on LMS SOTSBI, where the head of the department and the engineer presented the platform. SOTSBI is an online platform with theoretical resources and tasks for quality education of students and undergraduates. A laboratory has been established at the center, where a seminar is already being held, and later on, training sessions will be held. After a meeting of the department, faculty and the head went to inspect the laboratory. This platform will be the beginning for the digital transformation of the next generation university.
