At the Department of General and Theoretical Physics, the Defense of diploma thesis was held in the specialty 5B060400-Physics starting from May 26 to May 29, 2020. The state certification was conducted in an online format via the Microsoft Teams platform according to the developed instructions. On the basis of this platform earlier at the department state exams in the specialty have been already held, so students and members of the State Certification Committee have already been familiar with the mechanism of certification. The chairman and members of the SCC took part from their workplaces, students connected online.
In the 2019-2020 academic year, as a Chairman of the State Certification Committee was invited Nogai A.S., Doctor of Physics and Mathematics, professor of the department of Radio Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication of the S. Seifullin Kazakh Agricultural Technical University. Chairmen of the SCC were approved by the order of the rector No. 2029-п. dated December 13, 2019.
In 2020, 34 students graduate at the department, of which the Kazakh branch is 26 students, the Russian branch is 8 students. Based on the results of the final certification, all students successfully defended their theses with the marks “Good” and “Excellent”. The students were awarded the academic degree of bachelors of natural sciences.
